i liked the old ones with the catchy jingles but some got annoyingly stuck in your head like shake and vac

I used to like one when I was a kid that was trying to get you to learn to swim.  There was a girl looking for a man and a fairy god mother she conjured up a gorgeous muscly man and a thin weedier one.  The girl went for the muscly one but it turned out he couldnt swim.  But the weedy one could swim like a fish so he caught her eye.  The muscly good looking one was moaning to the fairy god mother and she hit him with her wand and said "learn to swim young man, learn to swim"  Something like that.......anyone remember it???

phew that's good as I was wondering if I had dreamt it as no one here (when we talk about old adverts) had ever heard of that one! Thanks!

I also liked the Hamlet ones (though would be banned now) advertising cigars with the bloke in the photo booth and his combed over hair who couldnt get his timing right for the photo.......and then that music would come on......happiness is a cigar called Hamlet!

When I was a little girl I used to love the music and the hot air balloon for nimble bread "up up and away in my beautiful  balloon?"

One of the best recently was advertising a mobile network and it was in a train station and the music came on and some of the standers by started dancing catching other people by surprise and probably giving them their best commuting morning ever. "The only way is up" by Yazz was one of the songs
