The pill instead of HRT
« on: December 03, 2017, 06:10:07 PM »

Just wondering how many take the pill instead of HRT, I'm just going round and round in circles with stupid HRT and very close to saying I give up with it. I'm not living my life just scraping by day by day and it's really starting to get to me.

I felt amazing on dianettee (put on this because HRT gave me bad acne) but had migraines, so I'm thinking maybe the pill is a good solution for me.

This is a new path to go down so any input feed back ect would be great as at doctors on tue.
Im 44 and post menopause xxx

Butterfly - hrt seems to be giving me acne too.  It comes with my period and seems to be getting worse.  My consultant says you shouldn't take the pill post, but I think that's because they consider it overkill.  Maybe try half.  There's someone on the site who does that and it gives about the same amount as hrt.  I have also read in the states that menopause acne can be treated with estrogen and testosterone, which sounds strange, especially as the pill reduces that so reduces sebum.
