DR Renee discussing vaginal dryness
« on: December 03, 2017, 09:55:47 AM »

I like her videos, thanks to a lady on here I've been inserting my vagifem lower down and it's really increased my lubrication which in turn has increased my sex drive

Hope this helps (and the link works!)

Hello Annie0710.

Thanks for the link. I've just watched this video and another on the menopause. It's interesting to note that the GP is herself on HRT and says that it made her feel human again.

Take care.

Yes I watched that one when she released it.  I subscribe to her, she's so easy to understand and seems really caring.  What do you think she meant by the lubricant that lasts 2-3 days ? It didn't seem like she meant vagifem x

Hello Annie0710.

I was puzzled by that too though I don't use any medication for VA atm so I didn't pay that much attention unfortunately.

All health sites and videos generalise, it is only when you talk to real people about their experiences that you learn that the solutions are not that simple!

Take care.

I would imagine replens as that's the general to go to for GPs.

Hmmmm Replens crossed my mind.  But didn't know it lasts 2-3 days.  I was told about that all those years ago after my hysterectomy but thought it wasn't recommended anymore?

Replens is every 3 , no it's not recommended but still regularly prescribed.
