Just a quick question.  I read somewhere on this forum, can't remember who mentioned it, that Evorel patches only comes in 50 mcg, but the info under Treatments says that it comes in a low dose of 25 mcg.  Just wondering if the info is out of date and it only comes in 50 mcg now.   My GP is recommending Evorel Sequi as I'm still having periods at 54 so still peri.   I have to go back in a couple of weeks time after I get the results of my bloods (FBC, thyroid, Vit D, cholesterol), so just wanted to have all the relevant info to hand.  I also want to try the lowest dose possible as I must still have some oestrogen still kicking around in my system and don't want to overload.

I mentioned Estrogel and Utrogestan but of course they won't prescribe it in the first instance unless I see a menopause specialist which I will do if necessary, but I'm willing to try the patch initially because it might just suit me, although I've read the patch is the size of a broadsheet newspaper!!!  :D

Thanks Pamb x

Hello Pamb
I think evorel sequi only comes in 50mg whereas evorel, oestrogen only, comes in 25mg, 50mg, 75mg and 100mg. Hopefully someone will be able to confirm this?
Yes they are massive, and get bigger the higher the doseage!
Good luck xx

Thanks for the prompt response MIS71MUM.   I had thought they might be the size of a nicotine patch.   No doubt a man designed it  ;)
