Thank You Joaniepat and JaneinPen , I think a trip to my Gp to discuss options is in the pipeline. Sounds like I may need to try a few of the suggestions all you kind ladies have made. What worries me, is that I am still perimenopausal ... I can't imagine what things are going to be like when I stop my periods ! Mind you, if someone had told me 3 months ago I would be on a forum discussing my private bits ......... well ;D x

Thank you !  Have decided to up the vagifem from two a week to three ... to see what happens ..  whether the itching and burny feeling gets worse, or to see if it subsides a bit. ( Have bought some moisturizer as well as a vaginal wash but won't use either of these yet so I can see what's happening with the vagifem.)  thank you x
