I'm the same as Hurdity. I also notice that if I mix veg together like calling and broccoli it passes faster than if I eat them alone. I'm sure it must all be to do with fibre content.   My consultant was saying there are a lot of studies coming out on fennel to help digestion

Giardia is known to be pretty elusive in tests.  It's in plenty of my text books if you need anything looking up at all

Time to read Michale Mosleys book on transit ;-) then we will all be aware of how the digestive tract works and what interacts with what in order to produce poo!

Many cultures use various herbs in order to aid digestion.  Certainly Indian and Asia foods are mixed specifically!

Last night we were watching a Programme with Gordon Buchanan (sp) and he was told by a Tribe that cow's urine was good as it has (edit) anti-bacterial properties so they use it to wash with  ....... [now I will have to go and see if I can find exactly what was mentioned by looking at iPlayer  .]. ....... we both went  but in an area of low rainfall apparently this subsideses their fluid intake. 

So we are lucky in that we have running water and a loo to flush with

Yep.  I looked a few moments ago but iPlayer keeps rolling on the part I wanted to see  ......... they showed a cow's bladder being stimulated so that it weed and the girl washed her hands ........ couldn't find the reference where they drink it sorry .......

I find the different progestegens and the different estrogen doses affects mine.

Why after a bowel movement do I feel SO ILL    Not on HRT.  Slow transit can be bothersome.  Good diet over all.
