Morning if you can't moan here where can you moan 😘
The clinic  doesn't sound very helpful, I use to go to a menopause clinic but moved to the country so just see my doctor now.
I no what you mean when you feel yuck about yourself and think is this going to be me now.
I do try and do little things to help, go to pilates, hairdressers, do my nails ect.
A pamper is always good
The under eye thing seems to be really getting you down, has this just been on the patch? If so I'd look to change personally as its getting you down.
I've also just been on tabs for sinis infection my taste and smell still not great so I'd not worry to much about that.

Angela,
That is exactly what happened to me with the gel. I got puffy eyes and my gums receded and I got mouth ulcers.  I als felt fluey at times and in general dreadful.  I think transdermal just flooded my system. Add that to fluctuating hormones and it was a nightmare.  I'd sought tophe device of a specialist before changing from the pill and he'd recommended it.  I found the forum at that time and the ladies seemed to like the gel. My consultant and one member were acting like the gel was the bees knees so I thought it was me. I struggled for two months before stopping it. I've changed it now, and what I'm taking, while not perfect yet and I may need to change again is a lot better than where I was and doesn't give me puffy eyes. It really bothered me too.  Is this the first HRT you've tried?

Hi Lil, the menopause clinic certainly isnt helpful referred by my doctor as she said they would have more hrt options to offer me and were the specialists. The swollen eyes have been going on for about a year now but have got dramatically worse over the last 6 months. Hrt/menopause contributing but not the sole cause. As i said i had hoped it was sinus related but not to be! How are you getting on with your new hrt?

Hi Katia, how are you? I was on evorel sequi previous to this wearing double patches as my flushes etc had returned but had to change due to the conti patch. It was during that time that my gum recession got really bad. Im going to have to go to the dentist i think the only thing he will be able to do is put a white filler at the bottom of my teeth (not going to look too good) as i can feel it now eating and drinking hitting the nerves. Did you find your gum recession stopped? Glad you are finding this new hrt better, did you say its premarin your on?

I have also found i am running to the loo a lot and always leaking urine. I thought this was a menopause thing and asked the hrt clinic and they said no to see my gp. Have either of you experienced this?, bit personal, sorry, xx

I haven't experienced the running to the loo, but it could be the progesterone which is a diuretic.  I did experience changes in pelvic floor/urinary when i switched to hrt from the pill, but they went back when I switched to premarin.  My gums went back too, but i'm getting ulcers and sore gums, which the dentist has said is fluctuating hormones and can also be low iron.  I'm unsure about premarin.  It's better than the gel was, but I'm struggling to find a progestergen.  Provera is giving me greasy hair and utrogestan makes me groggy.  I'm wondering about trying angeliq.  I blamed sinuses for my swollen eyes, but it was the gel.  They are back to normal on premarin.

Lil22, I think you may have tried angeliq????  I'd want to add a little extra estrogen to it as it's only 1mg.
