I have been absolutely exhausted recently which is very strange.
My thyroid bloods are ok. My estrogen level is about 200p/mols which is ok.

I suddenly realised that when my estrogen implant ran out, so must my testosterone implant and this is probably why I feel exhausted and awful!!

Would those of you taking Testim/ Testogel please let one know how you are getting along with it.
I'm wondering whether an implant might be better if my gynae still has any?

I'm getting on well with testim Joesmum.  I only use a tiny amount but I'm sure it helps with energy.  I didn't get along with testogel I had a reaction to it so couldn't use it.  How was the implant? Did you find it improved libido/response?x

My Testim gel was replaced with Tostran once at the pharmacy and I much prefer that.  It is stronger in concentration than Testim but I'm not having any adverse effects so far

I tried the gel for 6 months and got nothing out of it.  Just some pimples and irritability.  It seems for some it works great, and for others not so much.  I know some who have loved using it and others, like myself, who seemed to get no response or only side effects.  Much like HRT in general, response seems to be a wholly individual affair.

Hi Joesmum

I've been taking testosterone (Testogel) for over 2 years and has definitely helped. I started a thread "Testosterone Here We Go" in Private Lives which you might like to have a read of - gets side-tracked occasionally but mainly to the point. I imagine my oestrogen levels are similar to yours - somewhere in the 200's but hasn't been measured for years.

I presume your diet is OK and iron/vitamin intake etc?
