Femoston & Gerd
« on: July 31, 2017, 05:12:07 PM »

Hi ladies, I hope someone can help me!

I started taking femoston about three months ago & actually started to sleep well again & my hot flushes reduced alot which is all great but having always suffered with indegestion, I now find I have a horrible taste in my mouth most days  :(

Doctor gave me medication for it not thinking it is connected to taking her but I am wondering if it is?? I have never experienced this terrible taste before - has anyone else?

Thanks ladies  :)

Thanks Sparkle! No it's no fun at all! I've decided to take my hrt every other day & see how I get on. Got a doctor's appointment next week & will see what she advises.

Thanks again. Have a good day  8)

I am on Femoston 2/10 and have a hiatus hernia - have had more stomach issues since going up to the higher dose. I appear to have IBS at the moment. Ugh.

Hi ladies, i've now been taking 1/10 femoston every other day & feel the Benita already! I suppose it all depends on how bad your menopause symptoms are really. We're on our hols right now so will see how things are next week when back in sunny UK!!

I may ask doctor to prescribe 1/5 femoston or try the gels. Am I right in thinking if you have a womb & periods you can't have patches only?

Thank you for your responses. Very helpful    :)
