Oh don't give up hope.  Many medications R Trial and Error in many specialists, not simply menopause, anxiety or depression.  Did I suggest keeping a mood/food/symptom diary?  Probably, I have a set thread most days  ::)

As oestrogen levels drop off muscles may become lax = aches and pains; gut problems i.e. hiatus hernia which may cause reflux; also the body may dry out, inside and out!  :o vaginal atrophy, skin, nostrils, deep in the ears ........

Yes a mood/food diary sounds like a good idea.
Stomach feeling a bit better now so will maybe persevere with the Angeliq.
Only symptoms I've had are the hot flushes and mood swings during the menopause, no joint pains or dryness (yet)so I'm lucky in that respect  :)

Annie0710
Heard that amitriptyline can help with mood might be something I would consider if my mood lowers again hope it works for you :)
Have never been to the doctors so often in my life since starting the meno think they're getting fed up with me now ;D

Me neither Marie, I get sooo embarrassed, luckily I've come across some great gps this last year who really listen and want to help but I always try to research first.  I'm relieved if I need them for something other than menopause lol x

Excuse? I don't 'want' to trouble them, I just feel better when it's about my back, or my eardrums etc

Well hopefully they're sympathetic to you for your anxiety

My trouble is I leave things then need to talk about umpteen ailments at once

My GP has been very good regarding anxiety and depression, he saved my Life.  ;) ..... If I have lots to moan and groan about I take a list and book an end-of-day double appt..

I had stomach problems for the first three weeks or so in HRT. It settled then. I have taken Yasmin which is the same progestegen and had absolutely no problems with it. It's great for weight, skin and hair

Thanks Katia :)think I'll persevere for a few more weeks and hope it settles down really want to try it as have hair loss and have heard it can help here's hoping  :)
I lost half my hair years ago after taking omeprazole it grew back but once a year it starts to recede at the temple and sides for some strange reason then grows back, but since I was on Kliovance it seemed to have got worse hence the reason for wanting to try Kliovance  :)
