Should we take folic acid in menopause?
« on: May 21, 2017, 01:44:33 PM »

I met a family friend this week who told me about his wife who is suffering from dementia.

The wife has been very agitated, forgetful and upset over the last few weeks until her GP prescribed her large amounts of folic acid.

I hopefully don't have dementia but couldn't help but think that I feel all of the above symptoms at the moment but not as strongly.

I've googled folic acid benefits and noticed that it helps create Oestrogen and healthy red blood cells. Maybe it's worth a go.

I am no expert on this but have a really good friend who has helped me so much over the years with things alternative and I really respect her expertise.  I asked her this question on your behalf and she has sent me this link which may be of interest.

It makes for a very interesting read I think.
