Itchy armpits
« on: March 19, 2017, 07:46:44 PM »

No idea if this a meno symptom or not but for the last couple of months my armpits have been sooo itchy! Not every day or all day but sometimes it's unbearable. I'm walking around like a monkey scratching.  ;D Changed the obvious things like soap and deodorant but makes no difference. Anyone else experienced this?

Intermittent itchiness is a nuisance, for me I get itchy insteps, or across my back or down my legs  >:( .......... maybe add a moisterirser to your arm pits in case they are dry?

Maybe try an antihistamine for a week and see if itmakes a difference. Hormone imbalances can cause itching, think it is quite common.

This happened to me and GP recommended aluminium free deodorant.  I bought Bionsen roll on and it solved the problem!

Oh some interesting ideas there.  I should be able to get hold of cetirizine (I'm not in UK ) . And will investigate aluminium free deodorant. Of course it hasn't bothered me for a few days...  ;D Thanks ladies!
