Hi. I've just been prescribed evorel conti by my GP. she knows I am on lamotrigine for epilepsy and I was wondering if anyone here has experience of using these patches whilst on lamotrigine. Thanks

can't help with the question other than to suggest using the search box for 'evorel Conti' and 'Lamotrigine' to see if there are contra-indications. Or ring your local Pharmacist?

Hi Diane c - I've googled the patient information leaflet for Evorel Conti and it does state that it can effect the way that lamotigine controls your epilepsy http://www.dokteronline.com/pils/nl/patient_information_leaflet-3396-evorel-conti-uk.pdf-1426685162.pdf so I would think you need to go back to your GP (or phone for advice) as soon as possible. It's under "tell your doctor if you are taking any of these medicines". Of course your doc should be aware of this but it wont be the first time that something has been missed when prescribing.
