Tranexamic acid
« on: March 22, 2017, 04:22:29 PM »

I'm in the middle of an extremely heavy period. Managed to get an emergency phone consultation with my GP who has given me a prescription for tranexamic acid. Two tablets three times a day for four days.

I was just wondering how long these May take to work?

Thank you for reading xxx

Did a quick search and this popped up in another thread:

"By end of January, flooding was worse so took tranexamic acid again and period stopped 3 days before starting again.  ...... "

If you put the medication into the search box and press you will see other responses .  Let us know how you get on?
