Hi to everyone. I haven't posted in a while but really need some help or advice please.
I am 55 no ovaries/hyster. Was on estrogen until 2 yrs ago and had to stop due to BC. I have been really struggling with mood swings headaches etc but this past 2 months my mood has become more low with spells of tears and low motivation and headaches virtually daily and whereas my mood would in the past lift again it is has stayed mostly low or flat
I am already on 150 venlafaxine/Effexor from when peri started which has been a life saver! .... why I wonder have my moods gotten worse and can I expect this to continue? Cud this be down to hormones getting lower and will it improve? Nothing in my life has changed lately I feel so powerless.
Should I try and ride the storm or up my AD? Any thoughts would be really appreciated x
Ps I have to stay on my estrogen blocker which doesn't help so do I just take whatever gets me through?!
