Thanks - that was interesting and explains why the pH balanced moisturising lubricant I picked up from the supermarket, post surgery, gave me thrush/BV  >:(

Yes that's it. I am seeing him in November and will discuss further as the choice is very limited.

Thank you Maryjane - very interesting link regarding vaginal moisturisers. I have to say I've found Sylk really wonderful to use -  no irritation and is very effective. One of the things I like about Sylk is the pleasant smell - it mimics the smell we would have naturally. I haven't tried the YES products - may well try these to see what they are like. DG x

Hello MaryJane,

You kindly answered me on another thread; I am newish to the site and can't find where that was 😔

I suspect that I have vulvodynia / PN set off by low estrogen after switching from longstanding estrogel to Livial.  I am my wit's end...someone mentioned you've had a positive experience and feel better now?

I'd be very grateful if you could share your experience or direct me to an old post where you've done that.

Happy New Year

Hi kkay. I hope you've managed find the info you need.

If you haven't, hit the search tab at the top of the page in blue and type Estrogel,  Livial or Tibolone (as its also known)  you'll find all posts on the subject.

All the best  :)

Also Kkay - if you click on Maryjane's name then her profile will come up and then you can scroll through all her posts (underneath her name on the left there will be "show posts" so you click on this and all that person's posts come up).
