« on: December 29, 2016, 08:12:08 PM »

Hi,
Could anybody tell me if it is possible to get Levonorgestrel in any other form other than the Femseven Sequi patches?
Thanks :)

Mirena coil contains it - mostly delivered directly to the uterus but a little is absorbed systemically.

That's a shame as it worked well for me using those patches but they just don't stay on my body so hence I get through too many and GP was not happy about that.
I used a Mirena Coil quite a few years back and it felt horrible for the whole time it was in place - like my body was trying to reject a foreign object; horrible dragging feeling in my abdomen and so having to lie down to relieve pain.  Couldn't wait to get it taken out!

I seem to remember feeling pretty good on Depo injection and I think I can get that progesterone in an HRT preparation...
