Wacky Christmas presents?
« on: December 05, 2016, 10:13:28 AM »

Anyone got any wacky ideas for presents for men? I have two presents to buy for men who like techy things so any ideas for them? Under £20 would be great!

This one probably won't either!!

I bought it originally for my 5 year old grandson but I reckon he'd be a liability with it plus I have a nearly 10 month old granddaughter so I think my daughter would be cursing me if I gave it to him

I've bought remote control camper van for son's Christmas. Last year he got a remote control car which can be driven up walls + along ceilings. They do tend to end up in a drawer afterwards though. :-\

We've had a few of the helicopters...they always break on first use as the propellas hit something then break!

Propellers do break easily on the helicopters. Hubby has two broken ones in his drawer.  :)

I would go opposite to what they think is 'techhy' ……. hunt around the antique shops/fairs for something which corresponds i.e. if they use an electric plane, buy a wooden, hand made version ….. if they have an electric lawnmower, search out a push-around one ………

There is a high street shop, also online which specialises in gifts for men. If you do a search for tech gifts for men, you're sure to find something within your price bracket.

Are you in/near London? The store Menkind has several branches around London and has precisely this type of thing  http://www.menkind.co.uk/storelocator/westfieldstratford
I have only been to the Stratford one. It does include presents under £20
