I have been taking Femosten 1/10 for a while now. I upped the dose by half a tablet of oestrogen every other day all the way through the cycle for several months and 2 months ago I felt awful and went back to the normal dose. I felt less emotional which was good and seemed to be fairing well until last week when I started spotting on Wednesday at the middle of the last week of combined progesterone and oestrogen tablets. My period started proper Sunday, with lots of tissue( sorry TMI) coming out and now just the normal flow. I have never had spotting before a period always after and I am a little concerned as
I am still bleeding. It is not normal for me and I don't know what to do.
Is there anyone who could give me an explanation as to whether it is because I don't have enough oestrogen or too much progesterone ?
Normally my period starts lasts for 3/4 days then a couple of days of discharge and it's over.
