Religion at worK? As everywhere else, mutual respect, non judgemental, acceptance of differences and the willingness to negotiate on both sides, where there are areas of sensitivity, is the ideal.
I have friends, who lived in Saudi Arabia. He worked and she had to stay in her apartment with her daughter. It is illegal for women to go out and about unchaperoned. They are muslims, but the attitude towards women was completely alien to them. The money was good, but what a price. I have another friend who runs a hospital there. She lives in a compound, in which there is some freedom, but has to be chaperoned to and from work. She's worked there for years so I assume she accepts restrictions.
