I keep getting emails purporting to be from apple and iTunes. The latest was one thanking me for my order for Netflix at the tune of £37+ per month! I assume that people panic and contact the sender, who then gets their details etc. The emails look genuine, which is worrying.

If I disappear
- a man called 'Kevin' - apparently - rang telling me that he is from BT and that there is a fault on my internet and that the connection will disappear shortly. Yeah. Right! Fancy ringing during le Tour and leaving a phone number
which is:
01796 879164 - despite telephone preference! He got short shrift .........

My in-laws have something caller Call Guardian on their phone. They had to set up a list who they WANT TO SPEAK TO and every call is automatically sent via the system. You are instructed to say your name and press the hash button. Then they are rung and asked if they want to accept the call. Now, they don't get any unwanted calls. It's available via BT. Might be worth some investigation by you for your Mum. Hope this info helps.
