Loo block
« on: November 13, 2016, 03:15:03 PM »

Oh the joys on a Sunday afternoon!!! A blocked loo! Of course water didn't fill the bowl, it seaped from the base. Happened before & plumber thought we were having a laugh! Of course didn't happen when he came. Fast forward about 3 years to today. Major mop up situation. Hubby all for calling emergency plumber & said diy store for plunger. £4.50 later & problem appears to be solved. Since poured hot water & bubbles down as recommended online to help dissolve you know what, his of course.  ;D The things we have to do!

 :-X …………

When I had bad IBS I had to have a stick by the toilet  :-[ (Reminded me of Billy Connoly and his 'jobbie wicker' joke ;-)

I went on a cruise with a friend, and she passed a rather large  :-X in the toilet and it just wouldn't GO  :-[......She went to find our cabin steward, and I heard her say.......'' please could you come and see to our toilet, my friend has used it and now it's blocked"........ Good job( pardon the pun) I saw the funny side, we had such a laugh later  ;D ;D

Ooooh dear! IBS and blocked toilets. Been there, done that! I've learnt to flush in the middle of a big BM, however awkward! Very embarrassing when I blocked the loo at my son's.

We had a few fun days recently with a shared blocked sewage pipe recently. Modern technology in the form of a camera revealed the blockage was caused by a broken house brick. Lovely water board men pushed it into the main sewer, which then was no longer our responsibility. No bill for the digging up. But it was stressful. IBS and no loo........🚽
