Hi Suzanne1967 - Livial sounds like a good option for libido and menopausal sympotoms if you are post-menopause. However I'm not clear from your posts whether you are or not - but I presume so if you started peri-menopause (with irregular periods) at age 36 and are now 49?
If you were on a continuous combined HRT - Elleste duet conti, then this does sometimes cause erratic bleeding and if it only recently started after not bleeding for a long time (years) then could indicate your lining has thickened on the conti HRT? It's good that you are being investigated just to check. If your lining has thickened then I presume you will be given a course of treatment to reduce it - but is not a reason to stop HRT.
As suggested you could then try livial, but also have you thought of a Mirena coil which keeps the womb lining thin and then you can add oestrogen as a patch or gel? I should add that I understand that oral HRT can have a greater effect on depressing libido than transdermal HRT, although some of the testosterone derived progestogens in some HRT types can actually increase it!
All the HRT types are listed at the top menu under Treatments/HRT preparations so do have a look.
Also you should ask for vaginal (local oestrogen) and have this on a regular basis to keep things healthy down there - many women need local oestrogen as well as systemic ( full) HRT.
Hope this helps and let us know how you get on
