Been prescribed this today I'm 41 and still have regular periods. I'm a bit confused as when to start taking it the doctor didn't say so I presumed I'd start tonight , after reading the leaflet it says start 1st tablet on first day of bleed is this what I should do ? Thanks

Sorry your post got missed Kymmie - there are so many! If you are still having regular periods and haven't skipped any then yes you should start the tablets on Day 1 of your bleed - to try and sync with your existing cycle. Hopefully you didn't just start last night but no harm done if so! Also depends on where you are in your cycle. If you are a couple of days into your bleed you could start. I presume you've been given it because you have started to have hot flushes and night sweats maybe? I hope it makes you feel better anyway

Thank you for replying I'm a little confused with it all. I am due a bleed anywhere between now or the next 2 weeks. Yes hot flashes. Racing heart , anxiety just feel not me at all
Just hoping it makes a difference
