mirena and hot flushes

Am I imagining this or can hot flushes come back with mirena coil?
Since I had mine fitted a week ago mine have come back
Does this mean I need to up my 50 estradot patch to a higher one ? Is this actually do able with my endometrial hyperplasia?

WTD, I can only give you my own personal experience and it may be very different for others but I found that I needed very high doses of oestrogen to get any benefit when I had a Mirena coil and even the 100mcg patch was not enough.  With hindsight, I wish I had tried using Oestrogel with the Mirena because I have far better absorption rates with it - I could never get anything like enough oestrogen from patches and this was confirmed with blood tests.  The problem for me was the synthetic progesterone in the coil became dominant and suppressed the oestrogen which caused migraines.

Everyone is different but you might want to try a higher dose of oestrogen, it might make a difference.

The menopause specialist has offered me sandrena gel before but as I do a lot of camping and have two dogs on an air bed I wasn't sure how it would work out !
