Yasmin or Yaz

What has been your experience with these pills?

I am now on Yasmin for very premature ovarian failure. Was thinking it might be slightly too much estrogen so looked at Yaz. But while having less estrogen it still has the same amount of progesterone, drospirenone 3 mg.

Is that good or bad? My main issue with yasmin is weight gain that doesn't budge despite dieting and I never had trouble with my weight before. I don't know but think some of it might be water retention?

In the beginning when I took a pill I could feel the diuretic effect an hour later but that stopped after a few weeks.

Can't help other than direct you to the Daisy info - maybe have a look-see at their web-site?

You might want to try Mumsnet as well as it's a huge site and there are bound to be women on every different type of pill unlike on here where there is less experience of the CCP. There are lots of different sections and boards as well.
