I have been away for a few days - but not sure who Joyce is/was? I presume she had a different forum name than the one she registered with and we all knew her as I don't remember any posts by Joyce, and she wouldn't have started a thread if she hadn't been on here for a while
. I would say good bye if I knew who it was - can someone tell me?! Maybe my memory has gone haywire (not unusual...).
The forum is much bigger now even than when I first joined 6 years ago - and is testament to the success of Heather Currie's work to reach out to menopausal women everywhere. I think it's brilliant that it is now so well known - but of course it's difficult to keep up with posts and members especially when you go away as I do!
It's still great to be able to make friends with like-minded souls though despite the size and I have several on here whom I've got to know over the years and exchange messages and even phone calls with some.
Personally I still feel I need support from time to time - or at least to share experiences about menopause and different HRT, and of course to try to help others if I can as most of us on here do
. However for others it's time to move on.
