Just to add, a gyny once recommended venlafaxine to me for the sweats.

Having taken both venlafaxine in the past and duloxetine currently, I would point out that they both have very short half lives of about 12 hours. Which means that should you want to come off them, it is difficult.  However duloxetine at 30mg has sorted out my anxiety and allowed me to sleep brilliantly so at the moment, the withdrawal is not a problem.

Hi sparkle you mentioned citalopram helped with your IBS I too have that. Just wondering what dose were you on I'm currently on 20mg of citalopram I've heard some where else that it helps IBS Can you give me more insight pls? Cheers Jan x
