Hi all,on Femoston 2/10 at the moment but getting terrible diarrhoea and wind,my stomach just cannot tolerate the tablets.Have told the doctor but she just shrugs her shoulders. She wants me to have the Mirena coil fitted but I'm really sensitive to the progestogen, bad migraines.I would really appreciate any ladies out there to tell me there experiences.

I have only had mine since April and apart from the constant, very scanty spotting...(don't want to temp fate but have had none for 4 days) I have no other side effects. I don't get migraines but I am a headachy person and I have had no increase in them.

I've had mirena coil as progestogen part of HRT since December, had spotting for the first three months, now all fine, just tender breasts, but bearable.
Hope this helps.

I get tender breasts too like Ljp but I am not sure if it is because of the progesterone or the oestrogen in my case.

I've had mirena coils since 2012 and I love it! I had some bleeding and spotting for first 8 or 9 months but then it stopped altogether. I can't fault it as it was a god-send for me after months of heavy bleeding and flooding. I've never had any pain or discomfort from it either x
