Hi pinkdove - I now how frustrating the blood pressure problem is! I lost my HRT purely due to the fact that mine was deemed too high 140/85 and I'm still trying to get it back. I'm making an appointment next week to try to persuade the doc after using the surgery BP monitor for four days which showed a good average result. I'm a bit stuck now, though, as I'm sure she will say that my readings have come down - this evening it's 108/68 with a pulse rate of 62 - because I've stopped the HRT! Mine is always lower when I am off HRT I must admit but it's never been over the optimum 120/80 before when I've had it tested at the surgery.

Have you looked at the Blood Pressure Association site for ways of getting your blood pressure down? http://www.bloodpressureuk.org/BloodPressureandyou/Thebasics/Bloodpressurechart  Looking at this chart I've only ever been "pre high blood pressure" anyway.
