Worth saying that GPs are still churning out the same old, same old; about HRT and the possibility of breast disease but that is what it is, a vague possibility.

Without going through the various family members who have had cancer and your own medical history, HRT should not be dismissed.  It helps more than people realise. Protects the bones, heart ……… that bus might be along sooner than cancer would develop ;-).

If you are 'well' enough not to require HRT then symptoms can be managed.  Good diet.  Regular exercise. 'me' time [there's a thread here somewhere  ::)].  Fresh air.  Vaginal atrophy can be a big problem, I find local oestrogen cream solves the symptoms.  PHEW! 

Keeping a list of what symptoms are the most bothersome can help too!
