Inserted utro vaginally, just felt it come out
« on: June 17, 2016, 10:44:19 PM »

Hi

I inserted my utro about half an hour ago at least, and I have just felt some discharge come out of me.
I don't go straight to bed, every time I insert my utro, as sometimes I am busy, and doing things, like colouring my hair and changing my bed, and washing.
I take it, I won't need to shove two more up there
I take 200mg, and I squat down and put itup as high as poss, I find middle finger does job best, gets it past that 'ledge' for want of a better word.

thanks in advance

Try to place it next to your cervix with an applicator.  I use and old thrush cream applicator and it work very well.

Ditto as Tinkerbellj - always when I'm in bed - poke it up as far as it will go and then don't move until get up in the night for bladder by which time it's already being absorbed....

I'm a night owl, even if i  go to bed early, i'm up and down, i have ADHD, although funding ran out before ADHD consultant could diagnosse it but GP suspects it, and ADHD nurse suspected it enough to warrant anther visit to the consultant before they rang me to tell me not to bother cos they stopped funding our area.
F*cking funding, Ive had it to the back teeth with it. Five years ago, people said "It'll go on for a bit longer yet", well, it's now 5 years on, I thought things came in waves, up down up down up down, we are due an up.

Where can you get these applicators from.
I have a tube of canesten but no applicator, I shove it up as high as it will go with my middle finger.
I did it tonight, and so far, so good, been in about two hours now.
I squat on the flooor cos I heard thats the best way to get it as high as poss, I touch the bit where the vaginal tube takes a 'bend' in the road, is that the cervix?

Aw yeah, I can go for a wee, go to bed, and guaranteed, I'lll want another wee, bladder contrary.
I wish I could stay in bed to give  utro time to work, but  I am out all day as its summer and I find it traumatic in my flat atm, for reasons I will put on another thread.

When I get home, I like to update the forums I am on and catch up online with familly etc, eat, wash, etc. etc.

You should be able to see a specialist in ADHD.  Your GP should be able to point you to any local support groups for example who will know who to contact if you are still interested.

Sorry; are you in the UK, why are there problems getting a diagnosis?  Have you contacted the National Autitic Society for advice regarding support for your problems?

No I never knew they existed.
I have a drug habit, I am ashamed to say.
I am newly diagnosed borderline personality disorder and chronic PTSD, from years of abuse, and the psychiatrist was very understanding when I said I dont use drugs to get high, I use them to get through the day.
I nearly took my own life at christmas. Psychiatrist understood I am not looking for cheap buzz/high and that its difficult for me to get through the day.
My GP said she will only apply for funding when I was off drugs, that was before I got my BPD and PTSD diagnosis, she treated me like a criminal, hostile.

Why are you ashamed? It is what it is! but if you are feel distressed by the constant of addiction, then maybe seek someone to talk to?

Are you able to go to a support group?  Something your Psychiatrist should be aware of in your area, maybe telephone his secretary and ask what to look for and where to find that support? There may be opportunities within his building.

There should be notices in the GP surgery or at the Library, Yellow Pages.  I don't see how a GP can deny someone access to an opinion what ever the complex medical needs!

Some people use alcohol to get by, I have an emerengy anti-anxiety tablet to swallow when it grounds me, otherwise I wouldn't be here.  Deep breathing no longer helps  ::).  It took over this morning so I took a tablet sooner rather than letting it take me over.  I know that there is a danger of mis-use but because the pill works within 25-40 mins., and if I take it earlier rather than later, the over-all effect is of release from the churning gut etc..

I'm really saddened to hear that you would not be here if it were not for a little pill you take in emergencies.

How come deeep breathing no longer helps? Does it bring on a panic attack?
I got some reallly good advice, 'if in doubt, breathe out.
Panic is often caused by too much oxygen in the brain, according to what I learnt on an NHS psycho educational course, and breathing out is the first thing that should be done.

I guess I am ashamed cos society looks down on drug misusers, but I don't take them to get high, I take them to get myself through each day without breaking down or falling apart.
I am engaging with drug services, nurse, psychiatrist and GP, and I am also tapering off them.
I did attand a drop in group last week, it was only an hour long, but unfortunately, someone else who came took up most of the time, but I will be going again next week.
As I was diagnosed I think they understand Im not just a druggie.

I cannot remember if you are on hrt CKLD?
Maybe perhaps you may need a higher dose, I know that I still have anxiety but hrt did take some of it away.
Sorry my reply is late, I have been busy lately with loads of different things.
