Oh I have busy, involved dreams that go on and on and …….. my brain picks up something from the News, slots in a friend not thought of for years and takes off …….. some mornings I feel shattered unless I can 'finish' the dream B4 waking up  ::)

I was having a browse around the internet finding about sleep and dreams and this site is really informative about what happens when and why http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/brain_basics/understanding_sleep.htm  Such a complex subject!

Thank you so much everyone.

I have just woken up from another dream, crazy and feel shattered, I just hope HRT will sort this out in the end.

As I said I am lucky in that I don't work at the moment and can sleep in the afternoon for a hour or so.

I will check out the website, thanks so much for researching.

Hi Zelda,
Sorry you are still having problems.
This is just a thought - as you aren't working at the moment would it be possible for you to not have a sleep in the afternoon?. Maybe when you feel a bit tired go for a short walk, just to get some fresh air & break the cycle of having a nap pm. I know I often feel the same early evenings so I do understand what it's like  - it becomes a habit.

Thanks Cazikins.... I can't do without my nap it keeps me sane, otherwise I am shattered all day, at least after the nap I feel human in the evenings :)

I know it's a vicious circle zelda.

But.... maybe if you are shattered than you might get a better nights sleep??  :-\ :-\ Easier said than done though isn't it. :-\

Thanks Cazi.... I am just hoping that the HRT helps over the next few weeks. My hot flushes have certainly vanished which is fantastic.
