Are any ladies using the spray on Magnesium as a supplement, do you find it works, for things such as restlessness at night etc and if so, what spray would you reccomend. Thankyou

I use/have epsom salts baths they really help with muscle ache and relaxes you too. Have a long soak last thing at night ,then hop into to bed for full effect  ::)

There have been various threads on magnesium in the alternatives section - here's one:

http://www.menopausematters.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,30643.0.html

There's another long one here:

Some of the responses don't read very well because a couple of members left and their profiles gone completely and it also got a bit heated at times due to copyright and stuff, but ignoring all that there is some useful information in there!

I have used high dose magnesium tablets to ease the repeated niggling cough, it supposedly relaxes the reflex muscle.  It also relaxes the bowel  :-X  :P ……….  ::)

For restless legs I eat lots of bananas ………. lack of potassium.

Hi Cassie,
Recently I found out that magnesuim with Vit. B6 supplement significantly helped my sleep, when I suffered with period aches and pains. The cramps subsided almost sraight away but what's more important is that I sleep better than ever. I only take a pill before bed and it makes me woozy ... Without the hangover effect in the morning that I sometimes get with Melatonin.
