Hi WTD

Thanks for asking after me.

Yes my appointment went well. Basically she says I need a good even dose of HRT. I told her I thought I was going mad; crying for no reason, anxiety, depression, exhaustion, hot sweats, brain fog...etc

Told about my duloxetine and she said she didn't think I was depressed but peri menopausal! And she had heard my story many, many times.
To be honest, I feel total relief that I felt understood. She also mentioned that once I become stable, I was to get off the AD's.

I've been given a 50 mg patch and need to go back in 2 weeks for a check up as my BP is very high.

The most important thing is that I have been given hope!

Hope you are okay.

So pleased it went well and praying it all works out for you.
I have a prescription for ADs but am resisting as have tried them in the past without success.
It's good to hear advice from someone so knowledgeable xx

Yes, I go on the 13th.
Am on day 21 and have had an awful night with nightmares and have had diahorrea this morning so I am sure this is an estrogen surge.  I managed a long walk with my dog yesterday afternoon but then early evening started to feel icky so I'm sure its my own hormones fluctuating. Just wish they would give up and let me have some life.
Off to Sheffield this morning to see our son but all I feel like doing is lying on the couch :(
My husband will be with me to see Dr M as we are both clear this can't go on and he wants his wife back xx

Thanks Ladies

I think I'm going to go dark for a couple of weeks and report back later.

Hope you enjoy Sheffield - that's where I am from.  Sat in the City Centre at work as we speak.  Let's pray for the Sun to burn through the clouds.
