MIL used to say she preferred "cardigan weather" - not cold enough to need a coat but not so hot you don't want to do anything! I think I'm in agreement.

That is my ideal, more or less as it is here at the moment  :)

Oh joy - hot trains  :(

Having said that, I sincerely hope it doesn't do what it did a few years ago - every Monday to Friday were glorious (while I was stuck in the office), then Saturday and Sunday was, without fail, grey and cool and often wet!  Then, for the two weeks I was on holiday, the temperature didn't top 14 degrees and it rained every day - and my (retired) Mum questioned why I was annoyed with the weather!!!!
