Urination
« on: May 20, 2016, 06:06:36 AM »

This is new to me I just feel I need to urinate more and more, I also feel I have not completely emptied my bladder.  I have a heavy feeling in my stomach pains in my groin.  Had urine tested no infection.  This feeling never goes away even when lying down, sitting etc.  Paracetamol helps.  I only take Evening Primrose oil. I have no ovaries.  This feeling gets you down.  I saw a male doctor last week he proceeded to give me Sylk this hasn't done much either.  Any clues and what should I be asking doctor to test and medication. Also don't know if other people experience this  but when you are unwell you smell different even your bed sheets smell differently. I know something is wrong but don't know where to begin.  Feel quite crap. Thanks Winnie >:(

Hi Winnie. Sorry you are feeling rotten. Did the Dr test your urine and send off a specimen? I think that would be the obvious place to start. K 😀

As your symptoms are persisting I would go back to the go.

Local oestrogen e.g. Vagifem will probably help.  These kinds of bladder problems arre very common with the meno.  Ask to be referred to a specialist if need be to get things checked out. DG x

Go back to your GP and ask for Vaginal Atrophy treatment!

Thanks everyone for advice.  Feel much better today using the Sylk seems to doing the job at the moment.  But it was mentioned some time ago that they thought I had the start of V.A. so will need to go and get it checked out. :)  Winnie

Sylk can ease initial symptoms but it won't add oestrogen to the vagina.  Apparently as oestrogen levels drop the body becomes dry; i.e. eyes, deep in the ears, vagina, skin ; for me VA was like razor blades up there  :o [My bladder etc. I think is my thread]
