Hrt and diazepam

I am on hrt and am flying in a few hrs. Have been going through a lot of stress and anxiety last month or so and the thought of the flight is terrifying me. Can I take a valium? Can anybody advise. I have to confess had a couple of glasses of wine and the odd cigarette recently just to help keep sane! Is the combo too much? Really appreciate any help 😀X

Hi Jenc, I am on hrt and take Diazepam on a " need to" basis and one of those occasions is when I'm due to fly. 2 mg or 2x 2mg usually takes the edge off the fear yet doesn't make me too drowsy.
Hope you get on ok🙂

What dose
Valium
has your GP prescribed and for what reasons? Have you taken any previously so that you are aware of how you will feel, taking into account a pressurised cabin?

there is no way I'd get on a plane without a pint of guinness and a valium. Alcohol doubles the effect so you need less valium.

no way I'd get into a plane, end of
- all those farty, smelly people who will want to use the loo when I need to 'go'
What did you decide?
