Estrogen and cankers
« on: May 17, 2016, 05:29:45 AM »

Hello ladies,

I started estrogen last Monday and up'ed my dose from .25 to .50, the flashes are starting to subside (thank god because I could not handle them any longer). But I'm getting a lot of canker sores and now I don't know what to do 😓. I can't live with the hot/cold flashes, they were intense, happening about every 15 mins. (just had a total hysterectomy march 23).

It feels like I traded one problem for another one. I just don't seem to be getting a break and I'm just about to lose my mind, seriously.

Is there anything I can take or do to get rid of these sores? Has this happened to anyone else here?

Please help me.

Hello riversong.

So sorry to read that you are suffering.

I can't help you with your query but I wanted to send you hugs as I am also at the end of my tether with this menopause business. I can particularly relate to your comment of trading one problem for another when using HRT!

I'm sure one of the knowledgeable ladies will be along soon and I hope you get the help that you need.

Wishing you well and take care.
