Well day 5 of 14 day utrogestran 200 mg regime and having massive breakthrough bleed like full on period in.prone to spotting but nothing this heavy , could it be getting used to the estradot as only third month on it or could t be my own hormones  should I be concerned about the intensity of it ?

Just remembered turned over in bed this morning and it felt like my left ovary was been twisted. Now I know why

Sounds like too much oestrogen - the lining has built up to much!! Keep using the Utrogestan for the full 14 days and I would then take a break from the oestrogen for 4-8 weeks to see what happens - this is basically a re-boot. If you are peri meno then problematic bleeding is more likely, especially when using Utrogestan as it isn't as strong as the synthetic progesterones.  Dg x

I'm currently keeping a bleed diary for menopause specialist as,she says it can take six month to settle down on new regime in back there in July so afraid to stop the estradot against their advice. Also can vagifem 2x weekly cause intermittent bleeding ? I'm still feeling ok mentally so fingers crossed there
