Period on Day 4 Utrogestan
« on: April 12, 2016, 08:08:45 AM »

Hi Ladies
Is it normal to start your period of Day 4 Utrogestan 100 mg? I'm not sure what I expected or when....but I have to say I feel very flat today.  Not taking any Oestrogel either at the moment due to impending surgery. Also seem to be burning up and sweating.

I had a bleed four days after stopping the utrogestan, but I hadn't had a period for several months. Is it your normal cycle kicking in?
I had the burning up /sweating with
Utrogestan, so bad I got hardly any sleep.

Hi Tink
I haven't had a period since 4th February so it's difficult to say really. Maybe it's because there's no oestrogen to oppose it.  I had forgotten what lowness was like at my cycle time.

Thank you.

It's quite a shock from the anxiety that I usually have.  The feeling is of total flatness but a bit of calmness thrown in for good measure.

I'm assuming I wouldn't be able to use vaginally right now!

Hi
Having a total rough day today but it's helped me make a decision.

I'm going to privately get my Oestrogen and progesterone levels tested. That way I can make an informed decision about my future plans and whether to take HRT or not.

It's difficult to seperate anxiety from peri sometimes. So by getting these tested, it should indicate whether they are low or not.

I need to do this for my own sake and my families as when being ill, I always imagined that I'd be well again by the summer....and it's fast approaching.
