thin light bedding
« on: April 07, 2016, 01:04:33 PM »

just to let you ladies know, since being perimenopausal i have been sleeping under a 1 tog duvet
its quite thin and light, just a bit warmer than a blanket
i bought them in marks and spencers
recently i went in to get new ones and they didnt have them
but i went there today they have 1 tog in all sizes and they also have cool bedding(draws the heat away from the body so you
stay cool in bed

I have one of their nighties that does that I love it!  My quilt is a microfibre or something like that it cost a fortune  its amazing in winter but it rustles when you move which annoys my husband when i can't sleep!

I ditched the duvet over 20 years ago due to getting too warm = lots of sneezing  :-\

I now have 3 sheets to lay on, the top 1 being changed weekly; underneath a sheet, a leecy blanket, a pretty throw and an eiderdown.

I invested in a wool filled quilt - as light as a summer quilt so that you don't get too warm, but warm enough to avoid being chilly  :)
