Medical Trial of New Hot Flush Treatment

Has anybody else read of this Medical Trial for AZD4901 a new non-hormonal Hot Flush Treatment?

This sounds really hopeful for those who cannot take HRT but suffer severe never ending flushes like myself.

Hot flush menopause misery could be over due to new wonder pill ...

Interesting stuff! If your only really troublesome symptom is hot flushes then this would seem to fit the bill. I guess you could use it in conjunction with topical oestrogen for vaginal dryness and bladder problems.

Yes sounds really good news, but unfortunately will probably not be readily available for 5 years!
