Don't put much credence on FSH number. 35 is high. 27 is high. But you're peri menopausal. If you happen to spit out a good egg one month or some other little variation occurs in your chemistry your FSH could be 50 or 10. Value means nothing unfortunately and for some women peri can last a decade.
There is not yet a reliable test to indicate what stage of peri we're at. STRAW tells us that after a cycle lasting longer than 60 days you are likely in late stage perimenopause which last an average of 4 years. That's an average. Which means some women will be in late stage peri much longer than that and some much shorter.
I know we all want to know HOW MUCH LONGER!!! But until the medical community starts caring more about women's health I think the 'test' for it is a long long way off
