After all your grown-up pressies you are going to laugh at mine, but I love them!  Hubby got me a huge lego set (that took me 2 days to build!) and a BB8 droid (from the new Star Wars movie) that is controlled by an app on my phone!!  They sound like silly gifts, but they are perfect for me (hubby loves Lego too - I got him a Lego Mini!).

Daughter is as bad - she got me a stuffed Eeyore whose cheeks light up when you cuddle him! Christmas brings out the inner-child in everybody in our house

You could send PMs  - many years ago MiL gave me 4 serving spoons for my birthday with the words "I noted when we stayed that you don't have any serving spoons" - Himself was fuming.  But a I explained, they were something required in our kitchen and his parents didn't have much money at the time.  Never given moth balls though

Scampi your pressies sound fab....lucky you.  Eeyore sounds adorable, my cup of tea totally.  Lego is great stuff you can build allsorts with it, I use to love building houses with it when I was younger. 

Sadly we have 4 calendars intotal for our house next year.  Hubby has a car one, and Ive got a donkey one, horse one and who remembers the thelwell ponies!!  well I have a calendar of them two.  We can only use one and it will get well used with apts etc, can anyone recommend what to do with the others, its such a shame to waste them as they are all nice.

Rather 4 calandars than mothballs though

We have a his/hers calendar where our appts. are put - one side of DH, the other for me.  So 2 of your calendars can be against each other on the wall and if it ain't on 1 or the other, you aren't doing it  - that's at the foot of the stairs so that we read it each morning
Another in the bathroom - usually 1 which is relaxing.  The other in our kitchen.  Job done

A husband at home who hasn't been kept in the Coronary Care unit for three nights over the festive period. This year is SO much better than last.
