The doctors I had as a child didn't appear to keep records, so when I moved away and went to a new doctors they had no medical history for me. Since then I've moved around and lived in different countries so there'd be a lot of gaps in mine.

All records were hand written in the UK getting_old.  Put into packets and stored on shelves, I spent many hours filing the same.  It may be that the GPs didn't bother to ask for yours particularly if you didn't have many problems when young

Mine got lost when we moved house, so I don't exist before I was 7.
