Whole chicken in a tin, never heard of that one.

I won't be rushing to buy Cremola Foam bramble. Just looked it up. Says it was popular in Scotland! Why?  ::)

Because us Scots have the sweetest tooth of all! Esp, liked the lemon flavour!! Used to make it up in an empty lemonade bottle and take it with us to the berries for lunch! Along with chicken and ham paste sandwiches!!

Tinned ox tongue. My nan used to make sandwiches with it and the texture used to make me heave.  UGH!! ;D

Oh, tinned ham as well.

I loved Cremola Foam. I've tried to describe it to my kids. Where can you buy it now.

I've never heard of that one.

My mother always had either cod liver oil or syrup of figs lurking and would dose me as appropriate.
She always gave it to me when I was in the bath in case I spat it out and messed my clothes  ::)

Never heard of the Browne's stuff sparkle, but sounds like something my grandmother would have had. Milk of Magnesia, eeks I feel sick just thinking of the stuff, in that blue bottle.  :sick02: I was given if I was sick, had diarrhoea or anything tummy related. She obviously never read the label! Just read just now - for constipation!

Carnation Milk
Fray Bentos steak pies
Condensed Milk.

Didn't like any of them but the very worse was tinned Haggis  :o
