Good thread!!

I can relate to many of the list of symptoms.

I will look back on this thread later.
But what is it with the runny nose!! I will be fine one minute then my nose starts to  run then I will be fine and some times my right  nostril will block. This symptom started before xmas.  It's no cold or hay fever! Is it somehow to do with hormones it comes across as that
Thanks janx

Are you on hrt Janice? I ask because I had awful problems with a blocked sinus and had several visits to an ent consultant with no success. However, once on hrt it all cleared up so I'd say yes, it could be hormonal for you too.

I'm sure I read somewhere about there being estrogen receptors in the nose . Amazing!
You could try using a saline rinse, that helped me get through some difficult days. I used something called Neil Med Sinus Rinse.

Not all the time, but when I do get cold sores it tends to be right before my period. The

I have found that I get embarrassing smelly farting,(sorry to be explicit)!  Another joy of menopause I could do without.

Yes I get them too, can sometimes be a week before I'm due but they always come!

20 years after my last period i still think of all of the pre meno and meno
Is the Dizziness and nausea it incapacitated me so badly i was only 37/38
Just starting pre meno they thought I had a brain tumour.
It was only years later 2009 on here in fact i found dizziness was quite common
But one most people didn't bother with.
I still have hit flushes
Still feel like my gearts skipping a beat
Still get terrified to death
Atrophy is extremely bad in my case cos no hrt and i was too scared to death to go
To the Doctor only good old Taz and CLKD plus a few ladies who no l9nger post
Bullied me yes they know they did almost daily in the nicest sneaiest way.
The rest yup same too but they fo ease i never cried sonce meno i cry at the drop of a hat
I dont have the same determination i had but i try to ignore it and make myself do stuff
Last year Dad died had to fly to uk from ozz 4 times in 4 months@i hate flying
I made myself doing something that really scares you is so Bobbles says courageous
All i can say if thats true last year i gave Churchill a run for his money

Hi, just wondering why GPS are not required to read this forum. It may ease the overwhelming feeling of being seen as a hypochondriac.  These odd symptoms are annoying, upsetting, and very  REAL.  Even the NHS website pays scant regard to these debilitating, never ending freaky symptoms. How I wish that hot flashes and a decreased libido were all I had :'(
