Thank you clkd .
Iv not tried ginger so will definitely give that a try .
Hopefully once iv had an overhaul of my diet it may help with other problems I'm experienceing like my sinus issues.
They have got a lot worse.
Iv seen an ent specialist who ordered a ct scan which found no infection or blockage, but did offered me an operation as the bone in my nose is a bit out of place but I refused the op x

I eat quite a lot of banana's and other fruits now, along with seeds and a few nuts, rarely hungry.. also have porridge for breakfast each day for my B's.  I have never done this before so it has taken some getting used to but I am getting there, also stopped coffee.. though this is hard and I am wondering if drug withdrawal would be easier ;)  infact I know it is, as I stopped smoking over 3 years ago.

Now I forgot what I was going to say, hand on..............back to scroll....

Oh yes, I have the palpatations with panic attacks, though only had a couple this year so far.

No experience with thyroid so cant help or advise with that one, but seems they are taking a while to sort you out on that one.

Iv been on thyroxine for around 6 years now sadlynda .
When I spoke to my gp in regards to how perimenopause could affect thyroid function she just said that if you had any illness then perimenopause would make it worse.
I now find that a few days before my period does start I sweat a lot more, I'm.forever asking my family if they are feeling hot.
I'm now on day 2 of the prostregon pill I started so will see how it goes .
My gp has given me a box of Tranexamic tablets incase the flow gets our of hand like last month .
I did also want to ask if any of you ladies had ever used a home menopause testing kit? .
I ordered one and it arrived this morning.
It says on.the instructions that I have to test my urine on day 3 of my period then again on.day 7 then again the following week. X
