Feeling quite pleased
The name is from Lord of the Rings. I am a self-confessed nutcase about all things LotR.

Thank you lovely ladies for all your good wishes! My daughter is much better and out of the woods. What a tough week it's been though I feel physically and emotionally drained being there everyday to help her look after her one year old. I just wish my new AD's would kick in and i can feel better. Is anyone else on Mirtazepine and what dose? I'm on 15mg and advised by GP to increase to 30. Isn't it so hard trying to be positive all the time...😙

Hi Sparkle, yes it was viral meningitis, although awful as it was thank goodness it wasn't bacterial! She is a community midwife so susceptible and being pregnant the immune system is dampened.

Sounds good to me. My positive is that I had some holistic treatment recently and it flipping really helped. It gave me heaps more energy and everyone can see the difference. After being really into it in my twenties and totally rejecting conventional medicine, I then did a complete U-turn and now try anything from both realms that helps. I have been sceptical about alternative medicine for a while and can see how vulnerable people can be exploited for cash sometimes, but a friend offered to treat me for nothing and it was amazing. It is called kinesiology and it is rather obscure but it really did make a difference. I am taking supplements - B6 and Biothin with food as well as HRT etc. I like passing on stuff that works. When I was pregnant and a mum of a baby then, I got all my good advice from other mums by word of mouth.
Big group hug
